The new Stella’s is being designed as more than a traditional animal shelter. Current plans include dedicated dog and cat housing, isolation and intake areas, indoor exercise space, meet-and-greet rooms, grooming and animal-care areas, food prep and laundry, offices and storage, plus a large public community space for adoptions, events, volunteers and gatherings. Outside, we’re planning expansive play and enrichment areas where animals can safely exercise, explore and just be dogs.
This concept is not final. We’re currently working with Novus Architects on the interior design and Stimmel Associates on landscape architecture to develop the final plans for the new Stella’s.
