Animal Rescue Volunteer Opportunities in Winston-Salem
Want to volunteer with animals in Winston-Salem? Stella's Rescue could use a few more good humans!
From walking rescue dogs and helping care for cats to feeding farm animals, transporting pets, and supporting adoption events, there are plenty of ways to make a difference.
Whether you have a few hours to spare or want to get involved regularly, your time can help give animals the second chances they deserve. Fair warning: you may leave covered in fur.
Be the reason a dog—and other animals—get their second chance.
At Stella’s Rescue, we believe it takes a village to save animals—and you can be part of that village. Whether it’s walking dogs, transporting them to vet appointments, fostering in your home, cleaning barns and stalls, or helping with events and fundraising, every volunteer role makes a real difference.
When you join our volunteer family, you’re not just giving your time—you’re giving hope. You’ll meet incredible animals, connect with like-minded people, and see firsthand the impact of your compassion. No matter your skills or schedule, we have ways for you to help.
